Car Audio Subs For Sale

Will i Need to buy a second Car battery or Alternator for this Sound system?

I drive a 2005 Ford Escape XLS.

Your stock alternator has ~130 amp output.
P = V*I
P = 13.8*130
P = 1794 watts

Subtract ~ 400 for your cars basic electrical needs.
P = 1394 watts

Your subs setup correctly will output 1500 Watts Rms.
Assuming ~75% efficiency from your class D amp:
P = 1500 / .75
P = 2000 watts consumed by Alpine MRP-M2000

I would say you probably need to replace your stock alt because your Sub Amp alone will want as much as 2000 watts. You can run it on your stock alt but you will strain it and you will have light dimming. As for where you can get one, I'm actually not sure sorry.

My suggestion is do 3 things:

3) High Output Alternator

Power needed ~ 2600 watts to be conservative.
I = P/V
I = 2600/13.8
I = 188.4 amps

So an alternator with at least 180 amp output will suffice.
