Alpine Type S sub or type R?
i have a 2007 mustang....they have very little trunk space...I already have the shaker 500 audio system in it and that has to 2 8" subs already but...i would like to get a little extra bass maybe a wider range to my friends have told me to DEFENITLEY get alpine subs.... i have a friend that will sell me a used type R alpine with a custom box for 250 but i have a custom car shop that will install Amp Sub and all with a type S for 325....i dont know what is better for MY SITUATION...im just lookin for somthing that doesnt take to much space and adds a little extra "pop" i like some rap and a lot of rock/alternative is the type R to loud? im NOT lookin to base anyone out or be head from down the block! what is best for MY SITUATION? i say that because i know the type R is better but not shure if its TO LOUD or not......plus its gonna cost me more is it worth the extra money?
if you just want some nice bass save your cash and get alpines type E's or JL audio's w1v2's these sub's will add all the bass you'll need if you wanna go big with one sub get and re sx this is what i have and it's thumping , anyway i'm upgrading to an FI BTL but my current system is nice for some extra punch . but you should get jlw1v2 or alpine type E's there cheep but sound unbelievable
