Deep Subwoofer
What is a good loud deep Bass Subwoofer for a low and fair price?
I was going to buy two of these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4891522 and put them in boxes or buy http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8144090 but I really dont think its worth the money nor is the sound quality that good. any ideas?
Shane is dead on. Wal-Mart gets the lowest quality products. We asked our distributor once how we were supposed to compete with Wal-Mart's prices, and he told us that the particular company (Pioneer) only sold wal-mart the lowest quality equiptment, they can't sell what we sell, and vice versa.
You get what you pay for, and yes, the box you put it in can make or break the sub. 80% of the sound is attributed to the enclosure.
My favorite sub for the money is the Powerbass 3XL series. The subs are extremely powerful and efficient. (93dB/1W/1M)
One 12 in the right Ported Enclosure is more than likely going to satisfy your needs.
