i have dynamat question?

i am putting dynamat in my trunk and someone told me i have to heat it up before i stick it on and have to use a roller? this is my first time doing this so i have no idea wha to do.. if anyone tells me the steps tht wuld be great and mark the best answer

It's going to depend on the style of Dynamat you are using in regards as to whether or not it needs to be heated prior to applying. Dynamat Xtreme does no require being heated prior to being applied, whereas the original Dynamat does. You will want to use a roller to apply it, and work it into creases and grooves.
