Chicken, Beef or Pork Easy Marinade
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce
4 Cloves Garlic, finely diced
1/4 tsp. Sesame Oil
1 tbsp. Dried Basil
1-2 tbsp. Cajun Seasoning, +/- to taste
1/4 cup Honey
Mix all ingredients together and add to meat 3-4 hours before grilling. Use a Ziploc bag to marinate, for easy cleanup. Grill over Medium-High heat until cooked through. My kids and I make this together and it teaches them how to use measuring cups and spoons. It sound messy, but then again what kids aren't.
Also you can make potatoes on the grill.
Wash and dry potatoes. Leave skins on. Cut into eighths. Make a large foil packet or use the ones Reynolds make. Spray inside of packet with non-stick spray. Use enough potatoes for your family. Add sliced onion, diced green peppers, garlic: coursely diced, and drizzle top with olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Layer all ingredients. Close packet tightly. Cook over hot coals for 15 minutes then move to top rack and continue to cook for 30 more minute on med-low heat. My kids each get an ingredient to layer and it teaches them how to arrange things in order.
