Ohms Unused
Will any speaker wire do? (Car Subwoofers to amp)?
I'm going to be doing this wiring configuration from my Two Subwoofers to my amp. http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-ohm_mono.jpg
Can I use any type of wire for this? I am thinking about just stripping some old unused appliance wire and saving myself the trouble of a trip to Walmart. Bad or okay idea?
(I already know that from the amp to the power source is a different story)
All wires are not created equal. If you know the physics of it you would understand. electrons flow differently through different types of wires. you will hear a difference, I promise you. Also it will be much easier on your amp and subs. go get some real speaker wire.
