i have a 1400 Watt Amp pushing a box with 2 1100 Watt Dual subwoofer 12 inch is that a bad thing?
i have a pyle 1400 bridgeable mosfet amp powering 2 12 inch 1100 watt dual subwoofers. is this able to blow my subwoofers? is it a bad thing? is it putting out 700 watts to each sub or 1400? is the subs are 1100 watts does that mean each one is 1100 watts or each one is 550 watts? thanks!
pyle doesn't make anything close to 1400w and never has. Going off memory i believe the pla2200 is advertised as 1400 but its rms rating in the manual is around 300w meaning each sub would get no more than 150.
Iirc your duals are 300w rms each.
