Car Audio Subs For Sale

Has anyone ever used fiberglass to build a Subwoofer Enclosure in the spare tire wheel well?

I think this would be a great place to install one...hidden from view, would have to put the spare tire in the trunk but I think that it's better than having a sub box floating around. I've got a '97 accord and, judging by most sealed boxes I've seen for 10" subs, there'd be enough airspace...

It's not particularly hard to do. You're correct, that should be adequate airspace for a single ten - you could probably port it, too.

In your case though, I don't think it would be worth the effort. If you have a trunk, people aren't really going to see it anyway. Besides, do you really want a spare tire rolling around in your trunk?
