Gmc Canyon
Anyone have a 2005 GMC Canyon that has had brake problems, especially after getting new brakes put on?
Does this make sense?
i got new brake shoes on my front end. they are BRAND NEW. they arent stiff but you do have brake harder to get the truck to stop. turning left and braking at the same time caused me to lose control of the vehicle. the dealer put them on and charged a ton for the brackets too.
First what kind of problems?
If your trucks brakes feel stiff that means that you still need to break them in. If you have to press(or pump) your brakes alot to stop then you have air in your brakes and need to bleed them. If your hearing noises like squeaking that means you need to clean them(they should have done that).
And also if your having problems AFTER GETTING NEW BRAKE PADS sounds like its the person who did the works fault. But please be more spacific. What kind of problems? What did you get new? Brake pads, drums, rotors? All of them or just the back or front?
