Subwoofer Kicker

I have a 1500 Watt Kicker Solobaric subwoofer, What kind of box would be better a sealed or ported box.?
I want the type of box that will make my subwoofer louder, deeper, and sound good without ruining them
the subwoofer is 1500 watt peak and 750 Rms
Kicker's square subs aren't really intended to have great sound quality. They are more geared toward SPL and getting super loud around 40hz.
To get a somewhat consistent frequency response out of them in a Ported Enclosure it has to be usually large for a 12 so if I were you I'd just go with a Sealed Enclosure.
Kicker's recommended optimal volume is 2.0 cf.
