Do you think it would be wise to spend $150 on Bob Ross painting kit ?
for someone who's never done much painting and is living on a tight budget?
I want to do some painting as a hobby, is it a good idea to buy a bob ross kit and try his technique? Do ineed to take bob ross classes or just follow instructions found on the website?
It might be cheapest to buy a few canvasboards, a sample oil paint kit & a few brushes. Watch some of the Bob Ross shows to get a good feel for what he does, then try following along. Don't be discouraged if it's not perfect right away, as you'll need to practice the techniques to get them right.
