How is the power distributed to two submarines from a 500Watt amp? What each racking half the power or the 500th?
I just want some clarification on wiring because I have some seniors who are JL maximum of 300 so I do not want to return the submarine with 500 Watt Amp.
You will not fry the subs with this amp. Most amplifiers do not push the notes, the rating is out MAX. Most amplifiers have a 500 Watt Rms 450 or more. So if you run a channel to a speaker and one channel to another pregnant, the normal configuration, you are looking at about 225 watts per speaker. The most important thing in the subs and amps are not even submarines or amps, it is the compartment that you have under the 'impervious to air and it will be Bang!
